Probably GT-I9300 is not long rumoured Samsung Galaxy SIII

Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S III will not be announced at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona Spain. With few leaks here and there we have got an idea what device we can expect but latest leaks shows things could be even more complicated that we thought.

There was leaked information from Samsung website earlier this year show mystical device GT-i9300. As Samsung Galaxy SII comes under number GT-i9100 then everyone believed that this is upcoming Samsun Galaxy S III.

Samsung GT-i9300 - Galaxy S III

Now UAProf (User Agent Profile) directly from Samsung’s mobile website shows something unexpected. Listed GT-i9300 shows 1024 x 600 resolution display. This could be some lower level smartphone than Galaxy S III or some small tablet but not Galaxy S III.

Our editors believe that this is temporary placeholder for something bigger. If Samsung Galaxy S III come with so low resolution screen potential buyers would be more than disappointed. If we consider  that Galaxy Nexus has 1280 x 720 HD resolution display and  Galaxy Note has 1280 x 800 while Galaxy S III predecessor S II has 480 x 800 pixels. It would still be a spec bump but not like one we expect.

We have seen some leaked info that upcoming SGSIII could be listed as GT-i9500 and if the screen resolution for GT-i9300 is correct we are hoping that this won’t come out as Samsung’s flagship. Still Samsung has technology to make even this kind of screen stunning as Galaxy Nexus doesn’t feature Super ALMOED plus display but instead they have Super AMOLED and there is huge difference between these displays if you like to read books or long articles on smartphone. SGSIII could be hidden under GT-i9200 names as it’s still available in Samsung’s graduation scale.

What is your opinion? Will you buy SGS III with 1024 x 600 display as we know it’s less than Galaxy Nexus has but more than Samsung Galaxy S2?

Android is open space free mobile operating system used by most of the mobile makers, but the latest news is that android is moving to be a paid technology, which means that samsung will have to either pay a very heavy amount or move away. So samsung has decided not to pay.
All samsung users will not get and future free or paid support or samsung customer care for android phones. its hot time to move away to Nokia or the S40 Nokia
