Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most highly anticipated phones of 2012. Hands down Apple fan boys! You were waiting for iPhone 5 last year but you got a bit tweaked iPhone 4S and by looking to Apple we can’t see that this year will be any different as we don’t even know if we have to wait for iPhone 5 or even iPhone 6 as 5th gen was released under iPhone 4S name. Sorry for my complaints but now back to the point – Galaxy S3.
Long waited Samsung Galaxy S3 is set to be released in April, 2012 and it will be presented on Mobile World Congress, which will be held 27 February to 1 March at Fira Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain. This information is still not confirmed by Samsung but many trusted sources like Engaget and Gizmodo stated the same thing. One thing is certain – this phone is worth the wait.
Mobile World Congress 2012
Many new smartphones will be introduced on Mobile World Congress 2012 and hopefully Samsung will introduces us with Galaxy S3 or maybe they will reveal some other surprises like improved Galaxy Note or new Galaxy Tab series gadgets.
Samsung Galaxy S3 specs
If we believe Eldar Murtazin, a respected Russian Blogger also called ‘James Bond’ of smartphones then Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature 4.5inch HD (1,280×720 pixels) resolution display, 12 megapixel camera, software tweaks that will include new TouchWiz (Samsung’s custom mod for Android phones) and of course Google Android 4.0: Ice Cream Sandwich. Eldar Murtazin statement confirms our high expectations for Samsung Galaxy S3 we covered few weeks ago.
Rumors states that Samsung galaxy might be very similar or identical to its successful predecessor just like the Apple iPhone 4 and 4S scenario but Samsung more likely will feature better screen than any other smartphone in the market. Will this make people to wait for next Galaxy series phone instead of grabbing Galaxy S3 right after its release? Eldar Murtazin also mentioned that Galaxy S3 will run Android 4.0: Ice Cream Sandwich including Samsung’s own TouchWiz. The most surprising fact revealed by respectable tech blogger is that there might be two version of Samsung Galaxy S3 one with a dual-core and one with a quad-core processors. We are as surprised as you are but this rumor might me inaccurate as Samsung haven’t yet confirmed this information.
Despite the big screen and relatively low resolution of Samsung Galaxy S2 the screen still looks amazing but Samsung confirmed that with Galaxy S3 they will push Super AMOLED plus display technology up to HD resolution while keeping other display parameters in same level.
