What we can expect from upcoming Windows Phone 8 in designer point of view.
Last week Microsoft announced tablet called Microsoft Surface and we heard different opinions about it but we can clearly see that millions of people will buy this tablet because it has many things that iPad and Android tablets hasn’t. It supports desktop applications alongside tablet applications and most importantly it has physical keyboard which works as case.
It is a great looking tablet with amazing functionality which can function as replacement for your laptop or desktop computer. Only time will show how powerful it is and how popular it will become but personally I will think twice before buying next generation iPad.
Today I wrote how cool is Windows Phone 8 and when we can expect it to be released and I did mention that we don’t know how these phones will look and what specs will they have but I did find an amazing Windows Phone mockup images. This design concept is based on Microsoft Surface design outlines and most likely will never reach production but it sure look stunning.
This is the best design concept I have seen in a while and hope that Microsoft and other phones makers will take this as an example because these is nothing unrealistic in this mockup and it is technologically possible to produce it. Right now my favorite Windows Phone is Nokia Lumia 900 but its screen and lack of good apps are things holding me back from buying one and knowing that none of current Windows Phones will get Windows Phone 8 OS make things even worse.
Knowing Windows Phone 8 hardware requirements this smartphone could feature 720p resolution display 16-64 GB storage, 4G LTE, microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM and quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
What are your thoughts about Windows Phone 8 and this design concept?
